Cross-country Grindelwald

Cross-country skiing is also a favourite in Grindelwald. There are almost 15 kilometres of classic-style and skating-style trails available to them. The longest cross-country trail, which stretches over 7.5 kilometres, is a circuit starting from Grund via Mettenberg. There is also the option of exploring the high altitude cross-country ski trail on the Bussalp (3 km, at an altitude of 1,800 m) and the floodlit trail at the Glacier Gorge (1 km, at an altitude of 1,000 m). There is a charge for using the cross-country trails.
