The high plateaus around Lavarone and Folgaria are ideal for extensive and challenging cross-country skiing tours. In total, the region offers around 90 km of cross-country trails, most of which are of medium difficulty.
On this great terrain, cross-country skiers can choose between three different cross-country skiing centres: the famous Millegrobbe on the Lavarone plateau (35 km), Passo Coe in Folgaria (45 km) and Forte Cherle on the Folgaria plateau (20 km). Access to the three areas is granted by the Circuito Nordic lift pass, which is valid in eleven cross-country skiing areas in Trentino. Here you have ample opportunity to enjoy nature to the full. We recommend the 35 km Millegrobbe cross-country trail in Lavarone for experienced skiers, 15 km of which can also be skied in the evening thanks to floodlights. Incidentally, the Millegrobbe run, one of the most important Nordic competitions in Europe, takes place every year in March on the border between the plateaus of Veneto and Trentino.
