In the Tegernsee Schliersee region, cross-country skiers have a total of 250 km of perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails to choose from. There are classic tracks, skating trails and several night trails, most of which are floodlit every day. Beginners and novices are well catered for at the local ski and cross-country ski schools and endurance cross-country skiing pros will also get their money's worth. In the region around Lake Tegernsee alone, there are 100 kilometres of cross-country ski trails to explore, enchanting every fan of Nordic winter sports along snow-covered forests and meadows and through beautiful valleys. A well-developed ski and cross-country ski bus network, which can be used free of charge, provides the perfect connection to the various cross-country ski trails. The use of all cross-country ski trails in Schliersee and Spitzingsee is also free of charge.
