Cross-country Bodenmais

The region is a dream come true for cross-country skiing enthusiasts. The Bodenmais activity centre is considered one of the most snow-reliable cross-country skiing areas in Germany. The Bodenmais-Bretterschachten cross-country skiing centre, which is located above Bodenmais on the southern slope of the Großer Arber, offers six cross-country trails up to 18 km in length. You will also find the Auerhahn high altitude cross-country ski trail with a length of approx. 30 km, which stretches between 800 and 1,265 metres via Schareben to the Skizentrum Eck near Arnbruck.

In total, you are offered a cross-country trail network of 114 km of classic-style trails and 110 km of skating trails, which are excellently groomed by the municipalities of Bodenmais and Arnbruck.
