With 580 km of piste, 165 lifts and over 400 km² terrain this ski area is one of the largest worldwide. Romantic forest descents, untouched deep powder snow slopes, steep mogul pistes and first-class fun parks - all that is included in the "Portes du Soleil", the gateway to the sun!

The extensive terrain between Lake Geneva and the Mont Blanc is ideal for day tours, whilst you can also enjoy some relaxing moments in the ski huts.

Boarders will find a total of 13 snow parks and 4 boardercross runs available! Avoriaz, located at a snow-sure altitude, is the place to meet up within the boarding scene, offering 5 fun parks, a half-pipe, a forest run with obstacles, as well as great party locations for night-owls. Deep powder and freeride fans will find a huge selection of runs! Pros can demonstrate their skills on either the famous mogul piste "Le Mur Suisse" on the Pass Chavanette or on the public race track with time measurement.

Beginners will find what they are looking for on the French part of the area. Never forget to take along you passport when you are crossing the borders, as there are regular checks done on the pistes!
