Cross-country Sillian

In total, cross-country skiers will find around 144 km of groomed trails in the immediate vicinity, with the International Trail between Cortina and Lienz running straight through Sillian. In Sillian, 60 km of trails – suitable for both skating and classic styles – are available to you. Anyone who has ever skied on the trails in the Upper Puster Valley – and especially in the Tyrolean Gailtal valley between Kartitsch and Untertilliach – will never want to cross-country ski anywhere else. Snow is guaranteed thanks to a snow-making system.

The new cross-country skiing and biathlon centre in Obertilliach, with its trails and shooting range, is a popular training centre not just for record-holders. Guests can test their skills in cross-country skiing and target shooting under expert guidance. The Obertilliach trail network has been awarded the Trail Quality Seal.
