Cross-country Laterns

Cross-country skiing is not possible directly in Laterns. However, in Damüls, approx. 21 km away, cross-country skiing enthusiasts have the opportunity to marvel at the magnificent mountain panorama of the Bregenzerwald on approx. 11 km of groomed cross-country trails. Far away from roads and noise, you will find the start of the 6 km long high altitude cross-country ski trail Unterdamüls at the "Gasthaus Zum Göckle" at 1,500 metres. Here you can admire the nature and meadow landscapes of the Bregenzerwald in good snow conditions. Winter sports enthusiasts who like it sunny can head around 150 metres higher up on the 5 km long Stofel high altitude cross-country ski trail. From the "Gasthof Zimba", the cross-country trail climbs up to an altitude of 1,700 metres towards the sunny high plateau. From there, you can enjoy the snowy landscape and fresh mountain air as well as excellent views.
