Ski holidays Świeradów-Zdrój – A small but nice pearl of nature in Lower Silesia!
Świeradów-Zdrój (Bad Flinsberg)
At the foot of the Jizera Mountains, far away from mass tourism, lies Świeradów-Zdrój, known in English as Bad Flinsberg. The spa town is nestled comfortably between the High Jizera Ridge (Wysoki Grzbiet) and the Kemnitz Ridge (Kamienicki Grzbiet). Bad Flinsberg is known for its microclimate and the beneficial radon content in the air and in its healing springs and moors. In the spa gardens, the healing water of Bad Flinsberg, a radon-rich healing spring water for which the town is famous, is served for a small fee. The hotels in the town offer appropriate healing treatments, which are a wonderful way to relax after a day of skiing. As an alternative to skiing, there are several sights of interest for culture lovers. Not far from the park in the town centre, the spa house with its 45-metre-high tower is an eye-catcher. Adjacent to it are two building complexes where spa treatments are offered. The special feature is the connection between the two complexes, the 80-metre-long promenade hall. The impressive wooden structure with high arches and floral murals is the longest larch promenade hall in Lower Silesia. Concerts and dance balls are held here.
