In the Ahrntal Valley, classic-style cross-country skiers and skaters can enjoy a 51 km network of trails. Rein in Taufers with its cross-country skiing centre offers four different trails up to 15 km long at an altitude of 1,500 m.
Reliability of snow is guaranteed here from late autumn. The Ahrntal cross-country trail is the longest at 16 km. The challenging Kasern sun trail is particularly beautiful, with a wonderful view of the surrounding valleys and a difference in altitude of 1,595 metres to 1,700 metres. A cross-country trail pass must be purchased to use the cross-country trails.
