Ski area Plan de Corones
The Korer lift with its 8-person gondola is particularly suitable for beginners, children and families. A 100 metre wide piste with a 160 metre difference in altitude awaits here. Plan de Corones is considered a very family-friendly ski area with lots on offer for children. At the peak of Kronplatz, for example, there is the "Croniworld", where parents can watch their children's progress and enjoy a wonderful 360-degree panorama at the same time.
Experienced alpinists can put their skills to the test on the steep sections of the two descents to the valley, "Sylvester" and "Herrnegg". Snowboarders can let off steam on the half-pipe. No other ski area is as versatile and varied as Plan de Corones! The area is also known as the venue for various sporting events such as the Snowboard World Cup.
In order to guarantee the perfect skiing experience, the ski area is regularly upgraded: The ever-popular sun lift has been replaced, completely refurbished and equipped with many new features such as heated seats and protective bonnets. Free Wi-Fi is available in the Miara cabins and the snowmaking systems have been improved. In the 19/20 season, the non-detachable Rara chair lift was replaced by the modern "Skitrans Bronta". Since its construction, it has held the title of the shortest 12-seater gondola lift in the world and connects the valley stations of the "Miara" and "Pedagá" gondolas.
For an even greater choice of pistes, you can book an upgrade to the "Dolomiti Superski" lift pass and choose between 1,200 kilometres of piste, 450 lift systems and 24 snow parks! In the "Plan de Corones" ski area, you have access to free Wi-Fi hotspots at many ski pass sales points. If you choose the "Dolomiti Superski" lift pass upgrade, there are also many other hotspots available at cable car stations and restaurants in the various ski areas.

The largest and most modern ski area in South Tyrol, the "Plan de Corones", offers everything an ambitious winter sports enthusiast could wish for, both in terms of panoramic views and piste conditions. Freestylers are offered two opportunities to experience a successful holiday with lots of fun on the piste.
In the "Easy Park", which is located below the "Belvedere" mountain station, the name says it all. Over a length of 800 metres and at an altitude of 2,230 metres, there is a line with an easy level of difficulty that provides an introduction to the world of freestyling. Kickers, boxes, rails, a truck tyre and a 130-metre-long half-pipe provide the necessary height.
The "Jib Park" on the "Korer" piste near the "Bruneck/Reischach" valley station offers another fun-filled adventure. Covering an area of 6,000 m², various obstacles invite daring newcomers to take on the challenge and perhaps soon join the ranks of the pros.
