Ski area Paganella Ski

With the Paganella lift pass, you have approx. 42 kilometres of piste (including ski routes) and 15 lifts between 1,030 and 2,125 metres above sea level at your disposal. The 6-day Paganella lift pass gives you the opportunity to ski one day in the Folgaria-Lavarone ski area and one day in the Monte Bondone ski area. The varied ski area can be reached quickly from Andalo and the neighbouring village of Fai della Paganella. The predominantly intermediate and easy pistes are ideal for families. At lower altitudes, the routes mostly lead through idyllic spruce forests and offer the finest piste fun.

On the legendary "3-Tre" World Cup piste, pros can also let off steam and compete with heroes such as Zeno Colò, who made sporting history here 40 years ago. Or you can try your hand at the 5 km Olympic descent, which covers 1,075 metres in altitude. Even the US ski team has furnished its European training centre here and lets its World and European Cup skiers train for combined, super-G and giant slalom. The deep snow areas that open up at the peak of the Paganella are also fantastic. Boarders can let off steam in the "Dosson" snowpark.

The ski area also offers great variety for families with children. Four practice slopes at different altitudes are designed for little beginners. At the Pian Dosson hut at 1,450 metres, for example, there is a children's play park where kids can have fun for free on a large bouncy castle and practice their first attempts at skiing on the demarcated practice area with other inflatable obstacles. At 1,333 m, the Kids Park Gagglia offers a mini snowtubing track, where children can ride downhill on colourful tyres on a route suitable for children.

The "Combi (5+1)" ski pass is valid for 5 days on all pistes in the Paganella ski area and 1 day in one of the other ski areas of the Skirama, e.g. Madonna di Campiglio, Folgarida-Marilleva, Passo del Tonale, Monte Bondone, Folgaria, Pinzolo or Pejo.

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy

To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.

Night skiing Paganella Ski

More and more ski areas in Italy are also offering the option of night skiing. This leisure activity is becoming increasingly popular and most ski areas are gradually equipping at least a small part of their pistes with floodlights. Guests can also conquer the pistes at night in the Paganella ski area in the Dolomites. The Andalo-Doss Pelà gondola lift extends its operating hours twice a week for night owls. Every Tuesday and Friday, night skiers can do their laps from 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm. The "Cacciatori 1" piste is around three kilometres long and offers everything a skier's heart desires. The Dosson hut provides refreshments until late into the night.

Après ski Paganella Ski

Andalo also has a lot to offer in the après ski area: As in many Italian resorts, you can enjoy the dolce vita here, relax with a good meal in one of the numerous restaurants and mountain huts or simply spend a few cosy hours with a cup of coffee in one of the cafés. You can also experience a lively nightlife in Andalo, for example in the "Artcafé La Floca" or in the "Discoteca Shuttle", where you can party and dance until late into the night.

For those who like it more sporty, use the Andalo sports centre with its ice palace for ice skating. There is also the "AquaIn", a wellness and beauty centre with an indoor pool. Here you can indulge in a massage or relax in the sauna and steam bath.

Snowpark Paganella Ski: Snowpark Dosson

Freestyle fans get their money's worth in the Paganella ski area: the "Dosson" snowpark is easily accessible with the 8-seater Andalo-Doss Pelà gondola lift. You get off at the middle station. The park has its own 100 metre-long conveyor belt and offers more than ten different obstacles for freestylers of all abilities. It is divided into two areas. The easy area has a fun Funslope with five steep turns, two interactive hands, a gong and a xylophone. The advanced area is aimed at experienced riders and offers two jumps in sizes S and M as well as six creative obstacles, including a flat box, a rainbow box, two butter boxes and a tank. The entire facility is designed so that both beginners and advanced riders can improve their technique and develop their style. Right next to the snowpark is the Rifugio Dosson, the perfect place to relax and unwind with friends after a few sessions.
