Cross-country Malles Venosta

In Watles - Mals, cross-country skiers have the choice between 44 km of groomed cross-country trails for classic-style and skating-style skiing. Probably the sunniest and most popular trail in the entire Ortler Skiarena can be found in the Schlinig cross-country skiing centre near Mals. The Nordic ski centre was the venue for the 2008 Junior Cross-Country Skiing World Championships and has a circular trail that leads up to the Schliniger Alm. It covers an altitude difference of around 230 metres and, with its medium difficulty level, is a treat for almost every skier. Nordic sports enthusiasts will also find easy to challenging trails on the Reschen Pass, in Taufers in Münstertal or in Sulden. A fee is payable for the use of the cross-country trails.
