Ski area Folgaria/Fiorentini
The area has mainly medium-difficulty pistes, but there are plenty of descent options for beginners and pros alike. The Cima Sommo Alto - Costa (Emozioni) is the longest descent in the ski area with 2.5 km and a difference in altitude of 400 metres and is very suitable for beginners. The Fondo Grande (Martinella Nord) is considered the most difficult descent and provides thrills even for experienced skiers over 1.5 km.
Snowboarders can really let off steam in several snowparks. The Mazinga Park in the Fondo Piccolo area is suitable for beginners and advanced riders, while the Easyparks are particularly suitable for freestyle beginners.
Around 15 km away in Bertoldi is the entrance to the Lavarone ski area with approx. 30 kilometres of piste. From here, the 3-seater chair lift takes you up to Tablat, from where the main blue and red "Tablat" descent branch off. Via the neighbouring mountain Ust and past the pretty mountain lake in Malga Laghetto, further lifts lead to the highest point of the ski area in Lavarone at Virgo Maria at 1,700 m. The 2 km long black "Avez del Prinzipe", one of the most beautiful pistes in Trentino, starts here. It was named after a 300-year-old, 60-metre-high silver fir tree that towers close to the piste. The "Neveland" welcomes the next generation of skiers and for refreshments, head to one of the rustic wooden huts on the edge of the piste.
Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy
To use the ski areas, you must have valid liability insurance that covers damage or injury to third parties. This can also be taken out on site for individual days. Skiing while intoxicated (0.5 per mille or higher BAC) is prohibited and is punishable by heavy fines. To reduce the risk of injury, wearing a helmet is compulsory for everyone (regardless of age, on all ski runs, in snow parks and on toboggan runs). Anyone who does not comply with the helmet requirement will be fined or banned from the slopes.Après ski Folgaria/Fiorentini

Snowpark Folgaria/Fiorentini: Mazinga Park
In Folgaria-Lavarone, two snow and fun parks await budding and experienced freestylers alike: in Folgaria, the "Mazinga Park" impresses the shred community. The park with beginner lines is accessible via the Cengio Rosso chair lift and can be mastered by brave beginners. Small jumps and boxes such as a 6 m waves box, a 5 m wall, an 8 m kinky box, a 4 m wood and kids box or a 9 m mammoth box fill a 550 m long piste and offer a suitable introduction to the world of freestyling. There is also a smaller snowpark at the Cargaore lifts.
