Après ski Velturno

Apart from skiing, Velturno and its neighbouring communities offer a wide range of winter leisure activities. Alone ice-skating is possible on five different natural ice rinks in the town's area. How about a round of skittles before dinner?Several providers, such as the sports club in Verdings provide this and billiards is available as well.

In Velturno's sourrounding areas, several mountain pastures, such as the Villanderer Alm, the Kühberg or the Jochalm offer a total of eight natural toboggan runs to which it is easy to ascend for families with children. There are three different lengths which are mostly easy and huts along the way invite for a break.

If you prefer to explore the winter landscape on foot, the Velturno and Latzfonser Alm offer three marked snowshoe hiking tracks. The routes are marked in different colours and measure between 9 and 15 km. But the Eisacktal can also be explored without snow shoes - several routes and circuits lead through mountains and valley all around the Völlnösser Alm, Rosskopf Alm, etc.
