Ski area Alta Badia
The Alta Badia ski El Dorado will give you unlimited skiing fun on approx. 130 km of piste accessible with the lift pass "Alta Badia". The area is on an altitude of 1,324 - 2,550 m and is connected to the well-known and very popular interconnected ski area Dolomiti Superski. On the high plateau Piz Sorega, Piz La Villa, Pralongià and Cherz you will find blue and easily manageable red pistes, such as e.g. the "Col Alto", "Arlara" and "Boè", which also lead down to Corvara. The Col Alto, Italy's first chairlift can also be found here. When the chairlift was put into operation, it transported 163 people per hour - nowadays, it manages to transport 2,400 guests. A total of 53 lifts and approx. 130 km of piste cater to the needs of skiers, both experienced ones and novices. The 2.5 km long "Gran Risa" in La Villa, known for the Giant Slalom World Cup race, as well as the "Vallon" in Corvara are known as the black pearls in the ski area. The official piste map is separated into three different levels of difficulty. Like this, beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers will find suitable pistes at a glance.
Entering the Alta Badia will also give you access to the Sella Ronda, which allows you to ski around the impressive Sella Massif in one ski day. The ski tour is one of the most popular - if not the most popular - ski area union in the Dolomites. Thanks to lifts you can make the tour in one day, and into two directions. You have access to the tour from the four surrounding valleys Val Gardena, Val Badia, Arabba (Fodom) and Val di Fassa. All of Sella Ronda, as well as numerous other pistes are accessible with the "Dolomiti Superski" lift pass (see "ski region"), which you can book as an extension to the included "Alta Badia" lift pass.

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy
To use the ski areas, you must have valid liability insurance that covers damage or injury to third parties. This can also be taken out on site for individual days. Skiing while intoxicated (0.5 per mille or higher BAC) is prohibited and is punishable by heavy fines. To reduce the risk of injury, wearing a helmet is compulsory for everyone (regardless of age, on all ski runs, in snow parks and on toboggan runs). Anyone who does not comply with the helmet requirement will be fined or banned from the slopes.
Après ski Alta Badia
Apres ski in Alta Badia is celebrated with a taste of "Dolce Vita". The hours after the pistes are closing are spent delightfully and and elegantly in quaint mountain huts, in the trendy "Aperobar" or in the classic "Tiroler Stuben". Comfortable evenings with good food and exquisite wines in a stylish ambiance are guaranteed.
If you're thirsty for beer and party in the evening, numerous bars and pubs in Corvara and the surrounding villages will help you with that. The "Underground" for example offers a relaxed bar-atmosphere with billard tables. With groovy music, it's a bit wilder in the apres ski bars "L'Murin" and the "Posta Zirm" tavern. If you have legs strong enough to dance even after a long day on skis in the huge Dolomiti Superski-area, you can let loose at the delux apres ski party with collective dancing and a great atmosphere until 21:00.

Snowpark Alta Badia: Alta Badia Snowpark
The wonderful snow park Alta Badia is situated on the high plateau of Piz Sorega. The area offers a total of 40 well-kept obstacles, and the creative shapers vary the forms every season with new ideas. Kickers with different heights as well as various rails, boxes and jibs are always available.
The premium park is also a location for many public photo shoots and competitions. The "La Freestyla" for example, as a part of the popular QParks tour, has been on the list of events in the Snowpark Alta Badia for years.
