Aprica is located at 1,181 m altitude in the lovely Veltlin valley, in the north of Lombardy. The winter sports resort has approx. 1,600 inhabitants and is situated just eastern of the Passo dell'Aprica, which is the cross-over point from Veltlin to Valcamonica.
