Cross-country Oberwiesenthal

Information on cross-country skiing

75 km Cross-country trails (in km):

Oberwiesenthal offers a total of 75 km of mainly medium to challenging trails. At 7 km of medium difficulty, the Aussichtsloipe (outlook trail) is the longest and one of the most beautiful trails Oberwiesenthal has to offer. Beginners can enjoy a fantastic view of the valley on the 5 km high-altitude trail (1,115 - 1,124 m). Demanding skiers prefer the 5 km long elite trail. 17 kilometres of trails are suitable for skating.

The entire Ore Mountains offer over 200 kilometres of trails, making it a paradise for every cross-country skier. Thanks to the close proximity to the Czech border, you can switch between the German and Czech sides at any time.
