Ski area Ski centre Windeck - Hinterzarten

The Black Forest offers more than 150 ski lifts with around 150 kilometres of groomed descent. The largest ski area can be found on the Feldberg, with 14 lifts and 26 kilometres of pistes. But many smaller ski areas also invite you to enjoy fast-paced descents or leisurely turns in the clear mountain air of the Black Forest. The small and well-organised ski areas are ideal for families in particular. But you can also find freeride slopes and deep snow runs in the Black Forest.

With three ski lifts and around four kilometres of piste, the Windeck ski area is one of the ten largest ski areas in Baden-Württemberg. Thanks to a wide variety of descents with different levels of difficulty, every skier will find the right route here - from beginners to experienced winter sports enthusiasts. Families in particular feel at home: there is a lovingly designed children's paradise with age-appropriate play and learning facilities for the youngest guests. And if you need a break in between, you can treat yourself to culinary delights in the cosy ski hut.

The best way to round off a day's skiing is at the cosy mulled wine hut or around the campfire directly at the Windeck ski centre. Those looking for relaxation afterwards will find numerous wellness facilities in the region - such as the day spa at the Parkhotel Adler in Hinterzarten.

For those who prefer to be active, the Upper Black Forest offers around 711 kilometres of perfectly groomed winter hiking trails, including premium and adventure routes through the snow-covered landscape. Toboggan slopes and a natural ice rink also provide a sporty winter diversion.

A special highlight: at the Adler ski station, visitors can occasionally marvel at daring ski jumps by talented athletes.
