There are 40 km of cross-country trails in the Serre Chevalier area. The trails are all of easy and medium difficulty. The trail fee is approx. 14 euros per day. Four of the eight cross-country trails lead directly through La Salle les Alpes. They are also connected to the other trails in Monêtier-les-Bains. Some of the trails lead through larch forests or along the Guisane.
