Ski area Les Menuires - St. Martin
A few quite challenging runs can be found at the Point de la Masse (2,804 m) with e.g. the "Dame Blanche", but ski enthusiasts will also find enjoyment on the valley run to St. Martin. Since winter 2015/16. going down from the mountain station to the valley is possible for all abilities as the new blue piste "La Bouquetin" is available to use. The longest descent in the Les 3 Vallées region is also located in Les Menuires, with a 12-kilometre run from the summit of the Cime des Caron.
Touring skiers can also look forward to some new and exciting routes that have been added in recent years. Furthermore, the ski area is equipped with cameras, ready to film your runs down different slopes, an opportunity available in, for example, the new Pixel Area in the Snowpark. If you'd like to take a selfie of everyone on the ski lift, this can be done without any effort on the Saint Martin Express chair lift - on this lift you'll be photographed on your way up and can therefore let your creativity run free. On top of that, the efficiency of the lift systems has been improved through investments of around 9.5 million euros and, as a result, the lifts use less energy and trips take less time.
With the "Les 3 Vallées App", you can also find out about piste and ski lift openings/closings and the local weather at any time. Would you like to meet up for lunch at the hut? Use the app to share your location and see exactly where your friends and family are in the ski area. You also receive information and safety notifications directly on your smartphone and, in the event of an accident, the nearest rescue service can be alerted with just one click.
