The area around La Plagne boasts 55 kilometres of cross-country trails. These include many circuits in the individual villages, which are ideal for beginners. For experienced skiers, the 30 km Champagny-le-Haut trail in the Nordic Centre is particularly recommended, which is easy to moderately difficult and offers a fantastic view of the Grand Casse in the La Vanoise National Park. You can easily get there by bus. Neighbouring Les Arcs offers a further 10 km of trails, including two high-altitude trails of 5 km each at Les Arcs 1800 and Les Arcs 2000.
