Tirolina and family ski centre Schneeberg-Mitterland Ski area
With the "Tirolina & Familienzentrum Schneeberg-Mitterland" lift pass, you have access to the Tirolina ski area at Haltjoch, with 4 kilometres of slopes, as well as to the Schneeberg-Mitterland Family Ski Centre, with a further 3 kilometres of slopes. These areas are an ideal introduction to the joys of skiing, particularly for beginners and families with children.
In the lower part of the Tirolina ski area, near the ski hire shop, there is a dedicated practice lift for beginners. From the 2026/27 winter season, a new magic carpet lift will also be available there for the little ones, with free sledge hire. Although the ski area is renowned for its reliable snow cover, the slopes can be covered with artificial snow if necessary. The black run, approved by the FIS, starts from the mountain station at an altitude of 1,077 metres. Here, budding ski racers will find the perfect training ground. Experienced skiers can also try out the two ski routes that wind through the wooded terrain away from the groomed runs.
At the Schneeberg-Mitterland Family Centre, the Kinderland, the ski carousel and the practice lift are ideal for the youngest beginners. A ski school is located in the immediate vicinity. And let’s not forget the cosy umbrella bar at the end of the run.

Thiersee offers a quiet, cosy place to stay in picturesque natural surroundings. After an evening enjoying local Kitchen and a family atmosphere, you can end the day in harmony with a walk along the numerous winter hiking trails.
As an alternative to skiing, the Thiersee Valley also has several toboggan runs to offer, such as the approx. 3.5 km long toboggan run on the Kala Alm, which guarantees tobogganing fun for young and old. The frozen Lake Thiersee is ideal for a game of Bavarian curling or ice skating. If you still want to be active in the evening, you can socialise in the guesthouses and ski huts of Thiersee with Jagertee and mulled wine.

Snowpark Tirolina and family ski centre Schneeberg-Mitterland: Snowparks Wilder Kaiser
Unfortunately, there is no snow park in the two small ski areas in Thiersee. In the nearby SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental, winter sports enthusiasts have four varied snow parks, several funslopes, a ski circus and other special adventure slopes at their disposal - for all levels of ability. The offer ranges from easy to professional with obstacles such as boxes, rails, tubes, jumps, curves, kicker lines, bonks and much more.
