Katschberg-Aineck Ski area

With the "Lungo Winter Card" lift pass, you have access to over 260 kilometres of slopes at altitudes ranging from 1,066 to 2,400 metres, spread across the Katschberg/Aineck, Fanningberg, Obertauern and Speiereck ski areas, as well as the small ski lifts at St. Michael, Schönfeld, Zederhaus and Lessach.

In Katschberg itself, the Katschberg/Aineck ski area offers a total of 80 km of pure fun on the slopes at altitudes ranging from 1,066 to 2,220 metres. 17 modern lifts take you up the mountain quickly and comfortably; there are no long waiting times or unnecessary queues here. The "Aineck" and "Tschaneck" areas are linked by a cantilevered ski bridge, which can be crossed either on skis or via a conveyor belt. As well as being a practical solution, it offers you a special adventure. On predominantly intermediate-level slopes, advanced and expert skiers will be in their element, particularly those who love to hurtle down the "Tschaneckpiste" or the "Direttissima" on the Aineck. But of course, beginners also have the chance to make their first turns. The large "Katschis Kinderland" is sure to make the little ones’ hearts beat faster! In Katschberg-Aineck, you can keep your skis on in the evening, as the floodlights are switched on several times a week.

Night skiing Katschberg-Aineck

At the Königswiesenlift in Katschberg, the floodlights are switched on every week so you can carve down the piste under a starry sky and the huts around the lift invite you to enjoy a cosy end to the day.

Après ski in Katschberg-Aineck

In Katschberg, there is certainly no room for boredom away from the pistes! Those who want to enjoy a cold drink with hip music after a strenuous day of skiing or snowboarding can head straight for one of the numerous après ski bars, including the "Gamskogelhütte" at 1,850 metres above sea level, which is particularly recommended.

However, if you can't find an end to the action, there are also various sporting alternatives available. Whether it's the 30 km of winter hiking trails, the snowshoe tours from Katschberg to Laussnitztal, ice climbing in the Malta Valley or the Ebenwald and Katschberg toboggan runs that inspire you, the fascinating mountain panorama will offer you a special experience.

For all romantics, a horse-drawn sleigh is available, which is sure to warm your heart. This variety makes the area particularly family-friendly, but is also ideal for couples and smaller groups.

Snowpark Katschberg-Aineck: Snow park

The interconnected ski areas at Aineck offer a small but nice fun park area where both beginners and freestyle experts will feel at home. Various obstacles such as rails and boxes, a corner and even a (small) half-pipe are waiting to be discovered.

The kicker line is peppered with finely shaped jumps of various sizes. The park shapers are sure that everyone will find their personal favourite obstacle here!
