148 km Cross-country trails (in km):
The Ćtztal offers around 148 kilometres of wonderful cross-country trails. These include the 10.9 kilometres of trails directly in Sƶlden as well as those in the nearby villages of Zwieselstein, Obergurgl/Hochgurgl, LƤngenfeld/Huben, Umhausen/Niederthai, Vent and Oetz. Most of the trails have specially groomed skating trails and there is a service station in all villages.
The high altitude cross-country ski trails in Vent, Umhausen/Niederthai and LƤngenfeld/Huben promise great views and are also easy to master for less experienced skiers.
Fans of floodlit trails will get their money's worth on the 2 km long and easy floodlit trail in Hochgurgl. The cross-country ski centre in LƤngenfeld with a total of 50 km of trails can be easily reached by cross-country bus.
The cross-country trail network in LƤngenfeld, Gries and Niederthai has been awarded the cross-country trail seal of approval.
