Cross-country Schwaz

Information on cross-country skiing

15 km Cross-country trails (in km):

In Schwaz itself there is a cross-country ski trail which can be used when there is enough natural snow. It starts at the edge of the village in the East of the village and leads as a circuit over a length of approx. 7 km to the neighbouring resort Buch in Tirol and others. The trails is particularly suitable for beginners and children.

If you are looking for a slightly bigger challenge on the cross-country ski trails, we recommend the 8 km long high-altitude trail in Vomperberg, only approx. 3 km from Schwaz. On an altitude of 800 m, the sunny high plateau is ideal for cross-country skiers of both classic and skating styles.

The cross-country ski trails in and around Schwaz can be used for free.
