Ski area Zwölferkopf
With the "Region Achensee" ski pass (see ski region), you even have a total of 53 varied kilometres of piste around Lake Achensee at your disposal. The neighbouring Rofan ski area near Maurach is known for its great deep snow areas on the Seekarspitze as well as the great touring ski area on the Rofanspitze.
The Rofan ski area is approx. 10 km from Pertisau and can be easily reached with a free ski bus. This ski bus also takes you easily to the neighbouring village of Achenkirch, where a further 27 kilometres of piste are waiting to be explored in the Christlum ski area.
Après ski Zwölferkopf
For active leisure activities, there are numerous, varied winter hiking trails around Lake Achensee and the surrounding villages. The ski areas at Lake Achensee offer several natural toboggan runs with lengths ranging from 0.8 to 4.8 km, some of which are floodlit into the evening hours. The natural toboggan run on the Zwölferkopf in Pertisau promises 4.8 kilometres of pure tobogganing fun through snow-covered forests, past sparkling slopes and with fantastic views of the Tyrolean mountains. Another special highlight is snowtubing - a fast-paced alternative to classic-style tobogganing that is fun for young and old alike.
At Lake Achensee, you also have the opportunity to try out new trend sports such as snowkiting. At the snowkiting school, you can learn to glide through the winter wonderland across snow-covered meadows or slopes on skis or a snowboard with the help of the wind and a large kite.
