Cross-country Ötztal

For cross-country skiers and skaters, the Ötztal offers kilometres of top-class trails. No less than 148 kilometres are available to cross-country skiers here. The cross-country skiing centre in Ötztal is the municipality of Längenfeld with 50 kilometres of trails of varying degrees of difficulty and service stations. In Gries, the high-altitude trails promise breathtaking views and are also easy to master for beginners. Floodlight fans get their money's worth in Obergurgl-Hochgurgl. There are also cross-country ski trails in Ochsengarten, Kühtai, Zwieselstein, Vent, Umhausen/Niederthai and in popular Sölden. And best of all: all cross-country ski trails in Ötztal are free of charge! The cross-country ski trail network has also been awarded the cross-country ski trail seal of approval.
