Ski area Rangger Köpfl

With the "Rangger Köpfl" ski pass, you have access to 13 kilometres of pistes, which extend over an altitude difference of approx. 1,200 metres. The small, family-friendly ski area is located about 15 km west of Innsbruck. Particularly recommended is the scenic nine kilometre long descent from Rangger Köpfl to Stiglreith. Easy to medium-difficulty pistes, which are perfectly groomed, also appeal to skiers who are not yet absolutely sure of their position on the boards.

Families benefit from the relatively flat pistes, the first turns can be practised in the "Kids Park" with the magic carpet at Rangger Köpfl. Freestylers will get their money's worth in a small soft fun park.

Night skiing Oberperfuss

For some skiers, night skiing is a special experience, and many ski areas in Austria open up their illuminated pistes in at night. Oberperfuss also offers the opportunity to use the ski area in the evening. At Rangger Köpfl, there are 2.5 km of night ski pistes. The 8-person gondla "Peter Anich" takes you to the mountain station on Stiglreith (1,400 m), and from there you can take the Sulzstich lift up to an altitude of 1,650 m. From here, the valley run down to Oberperfuss is illuminated for night skiing. The operation times are Tuesdays and Fridays from 18:30 to 21:20 until the beginning of March. Not only skiers will get their money's worth: night tobogganing is also available at Rangger Köpfl.

Après ski Oberperfuss

In Oberperfuss there are cosy mountain huts, bars, and taverns in which a successful day can festively fade away. Anyone wanting to top off their day's skiing with sports activities can take part in night skiing twice a week. Furthermore, the village has a 10 km long tobogganing run, and the breathtaking landscape can be savoured on countless winter hiking trails. Or try exploring the area on snowshoes!

Party enthusiasts looking for more options and culture buffs should head to Innsbruck, approx. 15 km away. Tyrol's capital offers a plethora of clubs, discos, and trendy bars, as well as a wide variety of theatres, cinemas, museums, restaurants and concerts.

Snowpark: Rangger Köpfl Oberperfuss

The ski region "Olympia World Innsbruck" and also the ski areas "Glungezer" and "Rangger Köpfl" do not only attract attention with great slopes. Especially the freestyle fans among you have a lot of possibilities here and from beginners to pros we promise an unforgettable altitude experience for everyone.

Not only families but also freestylers get their money's worth at Glungezer: Since winter 2011/12 there is a so called "Jib-Park": Adrenalin junkies expect various obstacles that change their course several times during the season. By changing places, new combinations are created again and again, which fit perfectly into the given terrain. The variety makes it possible for ambitious freestylers as well as those who still want to become one, to use the snowpark. At the Glungezer Jib Fest in April, daring freestylers of all ages can prove their skills and compete with others.

Those who don't have such high demands on the setup are also satisfied in the snowpark Oberperfuss. A manageable number of kickers, rails and boxes offers enough material for a little detour.
