Ski area Stubai Glacier
Since the ski area was expanded, the "Daunjoch" 4-seater chair lift has opened up numerous freeride opportunities in addition to a black descent. With a decline of up to 60%, the "Daunhill" ski slope leads over 1.8 kilometres to the Gamsgarten. At Rotadl, the comfortable 8-seater chair lift with weather protection bonnets and heated seats takes winter sports enthusiasts up the mountain in comfort. Incidentally, the longest descent on the Stubai Glacier measures a whole 10 km! The challenging route begins as blue piste no. 7 and merges into the "Wilde Grub'n" ski route from the Gamsgarten middle station, which leads to the Mutterberg valley station.
The ski area on the Stubai Glacier is one of the most child-friendly family ski areas in Austria and has already received several awards for this. One example of this is the children's ski school, where specially trained ski instructors offer the little ones the perfect introduction to skiing. A separate area is available for this: whether it's a covered conveyor belt, a glacier hut for warming up or skiing with ropes, cones and colourful obstacles: Everything just for the youngest skiers. Whether it's BIG Pistenbully riding, BIG Family Slalom, BIG Family Boardercross, BIG Family Fun Slope or BIG Family Snow Castle: there's no time for boredom in the family ski area. If you spend a lot of time out in the fresh air, you will also be hungry: a children's restaurant offers tasty snacks for the rest of the day, subject to prior booking. For the little ones who don't feel like skiing, there is also a kindergarten in the middle of the ski area.
Snowboarders and freeskiers also get their money's worth: the Stubai Zoo Funpark is one of the largest snow parks around Innsbruck - lots of fun is guaranteed!
With the "Stubai Ski Pass" (see ski region), you have a total of almost 130 km of varied descent at your disposal (including ski routes), offering you unforgettable experiences on the slopes.
Après ski Stubai Glacier
If you want to take off after skiing, you should definitely pay a visit to the "Air-Parc im Stubay"! The indoor freestyle paradise offers parcour courses, a ramp for skateboards and several trampolines to let off steam.
