Cross-country Maria Alm

The Hochkönig region offers attractive cross-country skiing fun for beginners and advanced skiers. There are around a dozen cross-country ski trails with a total length of 40 kilometres to choose from, most of them in Maria Alm. The level of the cross-country trails ranges from easy to medium, while one variant of the Möserloipe is particularly challenging. Some of the trails are groomed for skating-style skiing as well as classic-style.

The Arthurhaus high altitude cross-country ski trail starts in Mühlbach at an altitude of 1,500 metres. Dogs are also allowed on a lead on this 3 km cross-country trail. A special highlight is the floodlit "Schattbergloipe" in Maria Alm. Here you can enjoy the night landscape on a 2 km trail with an easy level of difficulty.
