Ski area Dachstein West - Gosau/Russbach/Annaberg

With the "Dachstein West" lift pass, you have access to 129 kilometres of varied slopes (including ski routes). Beginners, advanced skiers and, of course, professionals will find the right descent here. Wide, easy to moderately difficult slopes in the midst of dense winter forests are typical of the region.

A total of 51 kilometres of slopes await you in the villages of Gosau, Russbach and Annaberg, while free ski buses connect the villages and thus also enable easy transfer to all the highlights of the Dachstein West region. The slope highlights provide additional fun: timed sections, wave tracks and fun parks. Demanding skiers will enjoy the "Donnergroll" and “Schwarzreiter” mogul slopes, while families will get their money's worth at the Family Park Dachstein West. Other slope highlights include the "Marcel Hirscher Rennstrecke" as a timed section for giant slalom skiers.

The various children's areas with directly connected ski schools offer games, fun and first skiing experiences. The magic carpets and beginner slopes in Fredy- and Zwisiland in Gosau, as well as the Bärencamp in Russbach and the Fuxi Kinderland in Annaberg offer an ideal introduction for beginners and children.

A special highlight is the panoramic "Dachstein Tour" ski circuit with 44 km of groomed and marked slopes. Along the circuit, rustic ski huts and sun terraces invite you to take a break and enjoy the impressive views.

So that you can share your impressions of your day's skiing immediately, there are Wi-Fi hotspots throughout the region around the lift and lift stations. This means you can always stay connected and share your experiences directly with friends and family.

Après ski Dachstein West - Gosau/Russbach/Annaberg

Gosau, Russbach and Annaberg are more traditional, Upper Austrian mountain villages. So you can't expect a lot of après ski. However, people like to meet up for a nightcap at the "JetBar" at the Panorama Jet valley station or the "Go-Gosau" umbrella bar, where there is always a good atmosphere. Cosiness and hospitality are very important here and families in particular feel very comfortable for this reason.

The supporting programme is varied and ranges from horse-drawn sleigh rides and tobogganing to Bavarian curling. Gosau also has more than 40 kilometres of winter hiking trails just waiting to be explored. After an energy-sapping day on the piste, a visit to the indoor pool is also worthwhile.

Snowpark Dachstein West - Gosau/Russbach/Annaberg: Family Park Dachstein West

The Dachstein West ski region has a total of four different fun parks and has something for every freestyler! If you want to jump straight into the fun from Gosau, the "Ötscher Kids Park Gosau", which is located right next to the valley station, is the place to go. With its own lifts, freestylers can explore the runs of the park, which has a wide variety of obstacles, without being disturbed.

However, those looking for the ultimate kicker should definitely check out the "Family Park Dachstein West"! Obstacles such as the 6-metre-long wave box and various medium kickers, a jib box and a 70-metre-long wave run provide the ultimate adrenaline rush. Does all this seem too daring for you? No problem, because beginner elements also allow newcomers to discover weightlessness. Professional shapers guarantee first-class shred sessions. Thanks to the free Wi-Fi hotspot, you can also share new successes straight away.

Of course, the "Rookie Park" in Russbach and the "Kids Run" in Annaberg are also worth a visit. They are perfect for beginners.
