The Lech Valley in Tyrol is a true paradise for cross-country skiers and offers a wide range of options with over 190 kilometres of well-groomed trails. The varied routes around Bach offer both beginners and advanced skiers the right challenge. The network of trails is perfectly prepared for both classic cross-country skiing and skating. If you are just starting out with cross-country skiing, you can explore flat and easily accessible routes such as the 6.3 km long Drähüttenrunde near Hinterhornbach along the Lech. Experienced cross-country skiers, on the other hand, can tackle the challenging Körberseerunde, a 5.7 km trail that climbs 185 metres in altitude at Falkenkopf. The 2.4 km long Gehrwald panoramic trail in Hinterhornbach is also highly recommended and offers a magnificent view of the Lechtal Alps. Many trails lead through picturesque snow-covered forests, wide fields and along the river, making every cross-country skiing tour an impressive nature experience.
