Cross-country Dornbirn
Cross-country skiing enthusiasts who want to hit the cross-country trails with the "3 TƤler Pass" can do so in many of the connected ski areas. In DamĆ¼ls-Mellau (43 km from Dornbirn), a total of 36.5 kilometres of cross-country trails await. The Stofel high altitude cross-country ski trail in DamĆ¼ls and the long valley trails in Mellau are particularly popular with fans of Nordic skiing.
A real insider tip for cross-country skiers is the Warth-Schrƶcken ski area (56 km) on the Arlberg, where a total of 17 km of cross-country trails are groomed between the villages of Warth and Schrƶcken. In the "3 TƤler Pass" region, this is only surpassed by the cross-country ski trails around Balderschwang (34 km) in the AllgƤu. The network of trails there stretches for no less than 120 km! The absolute highlight is the 41 km long "AllgƤuer-Latschenkiefer-Grenzlandloipe", which leads all the way to Austria.
