The wide, sunny valley floor of Zillertal is the ideal terrain for cross-country skiiers and comprises of a network of approx. 125 km length. Alone in the holiday region of Fügen-Kaltenbach, between the areas of Bruck, Fügen, Kaltenbach, Strass, Stumm, Ried, and Uderns, await a total of 53 km of cross-country tracks for you to explore. In Bruck's neighbouring town Schlitters, a 6.4 km track begins not far from the Seecafé on the Schlitterer See, of which can be skated along the entire length. The track runs over the Wiesengrund up to Strass and is easy to navigate, making it therefore manageable for every skill level. The easily reachable tracks in Fügen are equally worth recommending. The 1 km long high-altitude track in Kaltenbach, at a height of 1,800 m, offers an impressive view of the wintery landscape of Hochzillertal.
