The "Dachstein West" lift pass offers a total of 129 kilometres of slopes (including ski routes). In the ski areas of Gosau, Russbach and Annaberg, the Freesports Arena Dachstein Krippenstein, and the other areas of Feuerkogel, St. Martin, Karkogel, Lungötz and Dürrnberg, you’re sure to find your own favourite run set against a stunning backdrop. The resorts are linked by free ski buses. The region’s numerous fun runs promise a varied skiing holiday packed with fun! As well as mogul runs, steep slopes, slalom runs and speed runs, the Dachstein West Fun Park in Russbach also offers plenty of action. Enjoy a unique mountain panorama in the region and a wide variety of fun on the slopes for beginners, intermediate skiers and experts alike!

The local "Karkogel & Sonnenleiten" ski area lies between 712 and 1,200 metres above sea level, covers a total of 9 kilometres of slopes and is particularly suitable for families and beginners. However, advanced skiers will also feel right at home in this varied ski area, which features its own World Cup run.

For children, there are gentle beginners’ slopes, particularly near the Sonnleiten lifts, which are easily accessible via platter lifts. A highlight for young and old alike is the three-kilometre-long toboggan run on the Karkogel. It can be reached via the Karkogel Kombibahn and is partially floodlit until 22:30.

Unfortunately, there is no snow park directly on the Karkogel, but the Dachstein West ski region has a total of four different funparks, so every freestyler will get their money's worth! If you want to jump straight into the fun from Gosau, the "Ötscher Kids Park Gosau", which is located right next to the valley station, is the place to go. With its own lifts, freestylers can explore the park's runs with a wide variety of obstacles in complete safety.

If you're looking for the ultimate kicker, you should definitely check out the "Family Park Dachstein West"! Obstacles such as the six-metre-long wave box and various medium kickers, as well as a jib box and a seventy-metre-long wave run, provide the ultimate adrenaline rush.
