El Tarter is a small village in Andorra and it's perfect for relaxed ski holidays. With its ski area Grandvalira, El Tarter is perfect for families, as many of the accommodations are self-catered and childcare service is available in many places. The access to the Grandvalira ski area is also done easily. Despite its small size, El Tarter is popular because of its après ski parties at L'Abarset Restaurant, so that party lovers will also get their money's worth. Located directly at the border to France is the Grandvalira region. It stretches over the two Andorran districts Encamp and Canillo, and presents itself as the largest skiing region in the Pyrenees.
