Cross-country skiers can look forward to over 60 km of cross-country trails in Sterzing and its holiday valleys. 23 km of these are in Sterzing itself. A popular route for endurance athletes is the circular trail in the Pfitschtal valley - an insider tip with a length of around 20 km. A trip to Ratschings is also worthwhile for cross-country skiing - there are a total of around 28 km of cross-country trails available here.
