Important notes

• Please note: Your accommodation, the Schutzhütte Wildkogelhaus, is situated right in the ski area at 2005 m, which means arrival is only possible with the lift (Smaragdbahn lift in Bramberg) during its hours of operation. Arrival after 16:00 is not possible! On the day of arrival, you can use the lift to get to the accommodation for free starting from 15:00 provided you have a booked lift pass that is valid starting from the following day. Departure via the lift is possible until 11:00. You can take your luggage up the mountain free of charge in the gondola and it will be deposited at the mountain station, marked Wildkogelhaus. Luggage is transported automatically from the cable car to the hut and can only be transported outside of operating hours (i.e. only from 08:30 - 09:00 and after 16:30).
• A lift pass is required for arrival and departure. Should you not have booked a lift pass, a ticket for the mountain and valley ride must be purchased in resort (as per info at the lift office).
• Please ask at the ticket office of the mountain railway (Smaragdbahn lift in Bramberg) about the public parking spaces for guests of the Schutzhütte Wildkogelhaus.
• You can reach the accommodation from the mountain station either by foot via the toboggan run (approx. 10 min.) or directly on skis (approx. 1 min.).
• Please note that in the nostalgic rooms with shower and WC in the corridor, a maximum of 6 rooms share 2 x shower/WC.
• Bathrobes are not available.
• The Berghotel is not suitable for children under the age of 6.
• If you have booked equipment through us, the ski hire is located in Neukirchen am Großvenediger (approx. 6 km from the valley station of the Smaragdbahn in Bramberg).
• Please note that there will be no daily service in the hotel restaurant from 30.03.2025 until the end of the season.
• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.

Reductions

Depending on the room type, age of the traveller, arrival date and lift pass, you could receive various reductions to the holiday price.

Generally speaking, babies younger than 24 months of age upon arrival can travel for free, but they must be listed on the booking. Please note that fees for the stay may be charged locally (see Local Costs/Services).
